Week 11
Hello Week 11, This week I'm going to be talking about my design challenge. This week I was tasked to design a single detail page, of a dating app, for sports fan in the span of 15 minutes. My first thought was about that old junior high school game, Spin the Bottle. Now, these days there's all sorts of serious algorithms that go into dating apps. I thought it would be nice to take it back to simpler days and make dating fun by playing a fun game. And as it is a game, it will be well suited to my target audience of sports fans. The first thing I did was draw two rectangles for a bottle, yikes. Be glad you didn't see that one. But it's function was to hold place in the wireframe as I filled out the app a little more. After that, I build a large button on the bottom that says SPIN! Which, as you can probably guess, cause the bottle to spin and bring up a new person. I put a dating profile photo of a man up next, with a little expansion button you can click to see more.
